What Will You Do with Your Minute? A Giveaway!

Thank you to all of you who participated in the giveaway. Entries are now closed and we will be giving a "One Minute to Move It" gift pack to all of you who have entered thus far. Thank you so much for getting involved and taking one minute to move it!

If you had one minute to help make a difference in your world, what would you do?

That's the question McDonald's is asking kids and families as it launches "One Minute to Move It" -- a global children's well-being program designed to encourage kids to see what a difference a minute can make. It is all about inspiring kids to take one minute and make it even more meaningful. Whether skipping, dancing, coloring or singing, one minute can inspire activity for thousands more minutes to come. One Minute to Move It, which is being launched this Friday, November 7, has a boost from the spontaneous and energetic characters from the new "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" and the new Happy Meal featuring these characters -- all to empower kids to create a minute of joyful self expression.

Also starting this Friday, November 7, the fun continues online at
http://www.happymeal.com/ where kids and families can find suggestions for online and offline activities, track their "minutes moved" and enter special codes found on the delicious Happy Meal choices of lowfat Milk Jugs and Apple Dippers to enrich the activities on the site. The site also features an inspirational 30-second video with Olympian Shawn Johnson, which airs this weekend through November 16 on Nickelodeon, Nick.com and Nicktoons. Visit happymeal.com next week to see the video.

You can get one of 35 "One Minute to Move It" gift packs which each includes a complete set of the new "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" Happy Meal toys and a $20 Arch Card. For your chance to receive a pack:

  • Starting this Friday, November 7, and through November 19, visit www.happymeal.com to explore online and offline activities and fun ways you and your family can 'move it'.

  • Tell us in a post on your blog, "How will your family use your minute?" Be as creative as you want with your post!

  • The first 35 people to leave a comment on this blog post with the link to your entry post and your e-mail will receive a gift pack.

Kiss My Face Products for Kids + Giveaway

We can't say enough about Kiss My Face's line-up of kids' products. Not only are their products not tested on animals or contain animal ingredients, they are also free of parabens, SLS, artificial colors and artificial fragrances. What is particularly wonderful about Kiss My Face's kids' line is they use all of their bottles to teach children about endangered species from the panda to the chimpanzee. They also use organic ingredients, which is a nice touch, and all of their bottles are recyclable.

Here's what their kids' line includes: bubble wash, detangler, foaming hand wash, foaming shampoo and body wash, shampoo and conditioner, lip balm, toothpaste, toothpaste with fluoride, and body soap.

After trying each and every product, we give them an enthusiastic thumbs-up and so do our kids. They love all of them. Each product smells like oranges, but a natural orange smell, not the chemical-laden variety. And each product is top-notch from the bars of soap in the form of a whale to the self-foaming hand wash that makes washing hands fun for kids.

Want to win all of these Kiss My Face kids' products? Simply leave a comment and we will contact you should you win. Giveaway ends October 20, 2008.
