Classy Kid Helps Parents Stay Green While Raising Baby
Monday, December 29, 2008

There are so many great products for babies that I sometimes get slightly jealous that my daughters are way past the baby years. Now, that certainly doesn't mean I want another baby
Classy Kid has developed wonderful disposable, green, and safe products for your baby that, really, all parents should have. Classy Kid has created environmentally degradable plastic diaper sacks, biodegradable and disposable place mats, bibs, changing table covers, and potty protectors.
After taking a look at each product and feeling them thoroughly, each product is definitely durable for the task it was created for, but clearly capable of degrading in a landfill. All of these clean and green products are wonderful for quick trips around town, and especially for vacations as they can be easily thrown away, but you don't have to feel any guilt about it. In fact, it is ideal to have the potty protectors on road trips and anywhere your children will need to use public bathrooms. And the disposable place mats can be lifesavers at restaurants when your kids are clearly ready to go, but you haven't ordered yet. You'll need something to keep them occupied The place mats are a great way of allowing your kids to color patiently. I love that along with the place mat comes triangle crayons. The triangle shape prevents them from rolling on the floor. Genius!
If you are looking for a more green way to raise your children and do your part to not contribute to waste, Classy Kid's green and clean products are perfect for you.

Organic, Fair Trade Clothing for Babies
Sunday, December 7, 2008
We love when companies make clothing for babies and children that are in keeping with our philosophies about the world in which we live and the planet we want to help sustain. Go Natural Baby has a beautiful kimono for baby girls that is not only organic, but made from fair trade fabrics. The snaps are also lead-free and nickle-free and the kimono is colored with low impact dyes.Go Natural Baby carries a wide variety of organic clothing for babies such as organic hats, organic washclothes, and organic dresses.

New Baby Boutique on the Block: Pure and Little
Wednesday, December 3, 2008
It is very important for many parents to give their babies the best life has to offer and that includes all-natural, eco-friendly, organic fibers and fabrics as well as all-natural products to pamper their sensitive skin. There's a new baby boutique on the block that offers all of that and more! Pure and Little carries everything a parent needs to give their
baby or toddler the green life they deserve from organic newborn onesies and booties to all-natural baby detergent and organic, plush toys.
"Just the way nature intended; from the clothes they wear to the bedding they sleep on, even to the toys they play with, I believe little ones should be surrounded with the comfort of fibers pure and soft," states boutique owner, Kaitlin Spreitzer.

Green Babies: Part 1
Monday, September 1, 2008
All this week we will feature a different organic company for babies from those that concentrate on clothing to those that sell organic body products for babies. Finding companies dedicated to helping you raise green kids is not hard anymore, but we decided to feature those we think are extra special.

Wild Dill: We particularly like Wild Dill because of their stance on selling baby clothing that is, quite frankly, good for the earth. Take a look at their "Why organic, fair, natural " page to see why they choose bamboo, soy, organic cotton, and fair trade. You'll be impressed. Plus, Wild Dill is a mom-owned company. Purchasing from Wild Dill not only allows you to buy in comfort knowing that you are not contributing to the demise of the earth, but you are also supporting a women business owner.
