Get Peek: Handheld for Email ONLY
Monday, October 27, 2008
As much of a geek as I am online, I absolutely hate handheld devices because they intimidate me. I admit it. I've never fully been able to use my cell phone to its utmost capabilities, and whereas I like my PC and my desktop to be tricked out, I want my portable devices to be easy to use and simple to understand. I get frustrated with most devices that have instruction booklets the size of a matchbox that you have to endlessly unfold. That means there is way too much to learn for a device that's only slightly larger than my hand. I'll pass, thank you very much! That's why I am super excited about reviewing the Peek. I haven't received it yet, but I can't wait to try this baby out. The Peek is a handheld device for email ONLY. You can't get on the Net with it, you can tweet with it, and you certainly can't call your mommy friends on it. The only things you can do with it are check and send your email. That's it. Sweet!
I will be sure to post a review of the Peek as soon as I feel comfortable understanding how it fully works. In a nutshell, though, it's supposed to be simply awesome and simply simple!
Oh, by the way, any PR people who have tech gadgets and gizmos you'd like a busy mom to give an honest opinion about and spread the buzz, just email me at jjames (at) themomsalon (dot ) com.
