Web 2.0 Baby: The Dapper Baby

There seems to be a shift toward sites that offer shopping and social networking all in one convenient place these days. It makes perfect sense. You might as well sell to potential customers who are having a great time socializing on your site. It's a definite win-win.One site that is doing just that is The Dapper Baby, a brand-new shopping/social networking site for moms and dads who love to meet like-minded parents and who also like to shop for stylish and trendy clothes for their babies and toddlers.
A first glance, you know The Dapper Baby is going to be something special in the marketplace of sites geared to parents with babies. The colors are smart and the layout is refreshing. But when you really get into the site it's a bit cumbersome to navigate and it is very easy to get lost. We suppose that's the greatest pitfall of trying to do too much with one site: overwhelming the user.
All-in-all, though, we can totally see The Dapper Baby being a leader in its genre in under a year with a few tweaks here and there. The logo is superb and the title is priceless.

I love the Dapper Baby!! Finally a fabulous site with upscale baby clothing and gear, and a place to chat with others about how we like it. I'm hooked!!

This is a cool site. Great set of brands and definitely focused on outfitting the cool, hip and well dressed child. I love the blogs and articles as well. I agree this will be a place to visit over and over.

I saw this post and didn't have time to check it out yet but I just bumped into a review from young hollywood about this same site www.thedapperbaby.com and had to go there. I must admit I have not come across anything like it and I now see why the celebs have the coolest clothes for their kids- WOW!
