The New Employment Factor: Ability to Blog
People are always looking for innovative ways to translate their non-work related skills into the workplace or into their own businesses. That said, companies are now actively seeking employees who can handle their corporate blogs. They are looking for people who can write in a "conversational style about timely events"; just the thing bloggers do each and every day for fun.
Pulling between $40,000 - $70,000 annually, professional bloggers are the newest trend in corporate PR. So moms, keep blogging. It may get you a fat job one day.

I have been hiring mommy bloggers for a while, and have a very good pool of bloggers. I'm always looking for more diversity of talents. I'm a daddy blogger so I had a good network to choose from.
